New Jersey Shipwrecks
A slide show and reading takes us on a gripping voyage through the "Graveyard of the Atlantic" -- a name bestowed upon the state's treacherous shoals and inlets. Before this coastline became a summer playground of second homes and resort beaches, it was a wild frontier of uninhabited and shifting sandbars.

Great Storms of the Jersey Shore
Together with Scott Mazzella, who added new storm stories to the 2019 edition. Great Storms of the Jersey Shore combines exhaustive research of archival reports and old news accounts with interviews of more than 240 people who experienced major storms first-hand. It includes extensive narratives of the devastating Superstorm Sandy, the 1962 northeaster and the 1944 hurricane, plus many others. Those who have known the power of the great storms draw us into a time and place where survival is uncertain. This power-point presentation is an opportunity to appreciate the horror and beauty of nature at its most powerful.
